Design Competition

The proposed Royal Cube building structure was planned as an iconic suite for the Crown Prince, his Royal family and guests at the FIA Formula E Qiddiya E-Prix, reflecting the Kingdom’s aspiration to have a world-class hospitality with state of the art facilities in a building of outstanding architectural merit.
The building was planned with a footprint of approximately 600sqm with a length of about 20x30m with the option of two or three floors. The design gives guests perfect views onto the track, the pitlane building and the festival area, but also create an exciting and intimate atmosphere. Additionally, it was planned, that the Royal Suite will accommodate two private suites for HRH and special guests.
The structure is designed in a modular concept, which as-
sures a quick installation period on a high engineering
quality level. The proposed hospitality structure was designed to remain in Qiddiya. Additionally, the structure can be fully dismantled and afterwards recycled.
