The Swiss E-Prix was held on June 22, 2019 as part of the 2018/2019 FIA Formula E Championship. After the Zurich E-Prix 2018, this was the second motorsport race to be held in Switzerland since the introduction of the ban on circuit races in 1955.
The circuit was awarded the most spectacular circuit of the season with approx. 130`000 spectators.
The Swiss E-Prix operations AG managed to get the city permit, licencing rights as well as the finance to hold such an event.
