The 2018 Julius Baer Zurich ePrix was the first electric single car race in Switzerland after more than 60 years.
The Swiss E-Prix operations AG managed to get the city permit, licencing rights as well as the finance to hold such an event. The company was founded and ready to operate on the 1st of January 2018. Six months later the biggest event in Switzerland 2018 was successfully implemented. A total of 3`000 people were involved in the operation during race day. 150`000 people visited the event day on the 10th of June 2018.
It had been the most successful live event with the most attendance of the Formula E Championship so far.
